There are rumors going around that the next version of iTunes might ship with Blu-ray support. Also rumored to be in the next iTunes is some sort of social networking capability (such as Last.fm or Twitter).

If you make your way to Software Updates, Apple just pushed up the 10.5.8 update a few days ago. It mostly is a maintained update, but if you having the issues that it addresses, why not start downloading?

this can be useful if you don’t have a external keyboard, say to wake your second screen.

Many laptops have a magnetic switch that tells the computer to go to sleep when the lid closes. Older Macs could be fooled into going to sleep with their lids up by waving a magnet by the upper right hand corner of the lid. Newer Macs can be fooled by resting a magnet on the switch on the right hand side of the keyboard. Caution: don’t put a magnet near your hard drive!
